Rotary Bangalore Southwest is one of the prominent Rotary Clubs in Bangalore City chartered on 14th Dec 1981. The Club meets on every Tuesday at 7.00 pm at Meenakshi ENT Specialty Centre (MENTS), BSK 2nd Stage, Bengaluru

Our Projects

HEALTH FOR LIFE – TREATMENT PROJECT: – Children from economically sections who are affected with curable cancer are being offered free treatment at KIWDWAI Memorial Institute of Oncology since the past 3 years. So far around 66 children have been treated successfully.
MEANING FOR LIFE – Distributed over 5000 Dictionaries to high school students studying in various schools in & around Bangalore, Kolar & Pavagada.
CANCER AWARENESS PROGRAM – A systematic campaign to spread awareness about the causes of incidence of cancer was conducted in several locations addressing huge gatherings.
SET UP OF WATER FILTERATION PLANT – A water filtration plant was set up in JulaPalya School enabling free water supply to all homes from which children attend school.
DISTRIBUTION OF SOLAR LAMPS – We have donated 1000+ Solar Lamps to the Rural Students Under CSR project of Thomson Reuters.

And many more of humanity service projects : Setting up of Computer Department at St. Anthony’s School, Bannerghatta Road and in Poleramma High School, Julapalya. Comfort stations & Cooking Gas Equipment’s at Swami Vivekananda School, Set up of NICU at PD Hinduja Hospital in association with IWC Southwest, Water for Life Project providing water filters to Government schools to improve the health of students from weaker sections and to BSK 2 stage BBMP Hospital. OFDD: – Supporting Bangalore Kidney Foundation with One Free Dialysis per Day for needy patients from weaker sections.
